…On one cold winter morning, in the onion fields of central India amongst the farmers we tried to understand the possibilities for good business practices that benefit the entire eco-system. We talked about issues concerning storage, about stability relating to irregular produce and finances, crop quality and about life in general. It is a wonderful community living under very difficult conditions.
Most of the Indian farming community is made of small and medium farmers, they are disintegrated because of which it is often difficult to find the best value for their produce and there are more challenges involved, irregularity in price for their produce as well.
We're working on developing a strategy to minimise these challenges and grow their output.
